Three weeks of competition are complete in the 2015 FNJBLL season and two teams remain undefeated. Seneca and Vermont each won two games over the weekend to share the top spot of the standings.
Defending league champion Seneca WarChiefs (3-0) won a pair, one at home and one on the road, to remind everyone that they are the team to beat once again. On May 28 the WarChiefs exploded for 15 goals in the third period to defeat Tonawanda Jr. Braves 28-5. Lucas Beaver was player of the game scoring 3 goals and 6 assists.
Onondaga Jr. Redhawks provided a stiffer challenge the following night, but Seneca was again too much to handle winning 15-6.
At the Essex Skating Facility Vermont Jr. Voyageurs (3-0) played host to Jr. Warriors on May 30 dominating Kanehsatake 20-7. The next afternoon Vermont defeated Montreal Jr. Shamrocks.
Rochester J-Hawks opened their season after their first game was postponed. The J-Hawks welcomed Onondaga to Dome Arena in nearby Henrietta (NY) and came away with a 9-7 victory.
