Two-Game Homestand At TSE This Weekend

Rochester J-Hawks (2-1) return home after a mid-week trip to Tonawanda resulted in a 15-9 victory over the Jr. Braves on June 10. Vermont Jr. Voyageurs (4-0) will be at Total Sport Experience-Gates on Saturday night in a key FNJBLL matchup. The J-Hawks will welcome Montreal Jr. Shamrocks (1-4) on Sunday afternoon.

After the game Coach Whipple was pleased with the play against Tonawanda:

“We jumped on them 8-1 in the first, led by Connor Enright (Mercyhurst University) and the return of Connor Fields (University at Albany). The Braves battled, but I thought we controlled the game from start to finish.”

VermontBoth Rochester and Vermont have aspirations of challenging Seneca WarChiefs for the league title. Saturday is the first of two matchups this season between the two clubs. It is also the first-ever games against Vermont and Montreal, who both competed in the four-team Montreal Junior Lacrosse League in 2014.
